Eiza González apuesta por más latinas en el cine como protagonistas

Good morning. Just a reminder that Latinos and Latina Women specifically are under represented and always seen as the minority of the minority, when ironically we have been the majority of the minority. Billion dollar franchises like F&F by being inclusive have been built by latino/Asian communities watching these movies, and surprisingly Latino communities being the biggest turn out in movie theaters in the States in general. Last year was a year of a big wave of Latina women working. Being part of the biggest projects of the year, yet we are constantly ignored and struggle everyday to be considered, to only have a chance to get 1 role always against every other ethnicity or race. We are labeled “diversity” all of us (Asian, African American,Muslims,Latinos etc.) and if it’s not an obvious type cast ( the cop, a drug dealing story, the slutty girlfriend, the help or something having to do or being linked to Latinos) our chances to getting work are slim to none. Our chances to being the leading lady that portrays something differently and uplifting are almost none existing. So this is just a reminder that we can have more than one seat at the table. Yes you can have an African American AND an Asian AND a Muslim and not just in the background. It’s been PROVEN that when the projects are more inclusive they’re are more successful. Not only when it comes to Latinos. Any race,sexuality or women being considered and center stage. It’s not so hard to understand, people wanna watch something and feel like they’re are part of it. That is inspiring or uplifting, That they are thought of and considered. Watch something that speaks to them. Love you all. But hard working people should get an equal chance.❤️ And hopefully this resonates to every industry out there.

Eiza González es una joven actriz mexicana la recordaras del papel protagonizo en el vídeo musical de Romeo en «Propuesta Indecente» , en esta ocasión decidio alzar su voz acerca del papel protagonice de la mujer latina en el cine siendo representada como minoría «La mujer latina especialmente son representadas por la minoría de la minoría, cuando inoicamente tenemos la mayoria de la minoría»,detalló González deja entre dicho que las latinas son la mayoría de la minoría que obtiene papeles caracterizados para diversidad para Asiáticas, afroamericanas, musulmanes, latinos etc.

Papeles relacionados con drogas , la chica buena de cuerpo, trafico de drogas, roles que van en contra de la etnia son especialmente para la minoría de la latinas en el mundo del cine.

Finalmente se despide con deseos de que los derechos sean iguales para todos, que ninguna etnia se vea agredida, «sino es fácil de entender«, «Esto es inspiración , es lo que considero, al ver algunas cosas hablo de ellas, los amo pero hay que trabajar duro en tener trato igualitario, espero que esto resuene en la industria«, escribió detallada la actriz en su cuenta de Instagram, como parte de una denuncia a la falta de oportunidad de las latinas en el cine, asimismo del estereotipo en el cual las industrias les brindan espacios, alejando sus habilidades y destrezas en otros roles.
